Here we are. The long rumoured new block is out... well almost. What is to be noticed for PEZ deckbuilding in Time Spiral ?

I built this deck a few days ago. It intends to control the board and draw before combo off with the Freed from the Real + Paradise Mantle + Goblin Medics combo.
The built was good but hasn't any sideboard yet. So i designed one, which impacted the main deck.

I playtested some decks this saturday, and had the chance to discuss about the top PEZ decks, and more specifically about Mono black ones.

In "Old overview and new ideas", I told you about Jason Chapman's Mono Blue Hermetic Crab Deck.
My overwhelming love of whatever looks like a Prodigal sorcerer made me look at this deck.

This old (2002) article
at Game players network is definitely out of date. It's overall
presentation of the format includes some mistakes, such as the strip
mine still listed as a common, and "powerhouses cards" such as...
desert.
But don't stop at this : Jason Chapman is no newcomer to
PEZ, and since then, he has been writing for the format. If not the
best, he's definitely one of the most active writers.
The many deck lists are more interesting. Even without some
real and current top tier deck 1, it's still a nice source of
inspiration for alternate lists.

Hello everyone and welcome to this new site devoted to Peasant Magic.
What is Peasant Magic, also known as PEZ ?
The best answer can be found here, on the PEZ founding site. It's basically a chance to use common cards in a viable format, unbroken by mox, revised bi-lands and meddling mages. Enjoy the unexplored power of the majority of your cards !
What's the point of this site ?
I first came to PEZ thanks to Christophe Deslandes, fellow frenchman and Master of PEZ in Paris. I started browsing the web in search of decklists, sets reviews and tactics. I did find a lot of these, but they tend to be out of date.
So I came up to you with my good will and this site, in an attempt to gather informations, discuss about the format and share decklists.
Enjoy, comment and have fun !
Power to the people ;)

En France, on ne fait rien comme ailleurs, c'est bien connu.
C'est pour cela que les restrictions françaises et celles internationales ne sont pas les mêmes.

Here are the official Rules for Peasant Magic. International rules are up-to-date, so far.
Beware, French rules have different restrictions, due to over-domination of three decks.
